Im gunna try to find a plug or something to close it off when im not using the rack.

I think the idea is that you never take the landing pads off. Take the towers, crossbars, and fairing off when you don't need your rack but leave the landing pads on the roof. There's supposed to be some little covers that pop on where the towers would go.

Yup and ive got the covers for em. But i honestly would not feel comfortable leaving them on... basically you just pop the covers off, and then use an allen-wrench to unbolt the landing pads and they are gone.

Id rather take them off seasonally and keep them safe in my garage. And Im not too big of a fan of how they look left on.

hahaha yea.. i decided to try somethin different. I was like "meh" at first.. but the lack of motivation to change them... they've grown on me and i like em now
